Newsom’s gas bill joins a host of public health and environmental laws
We have been covering Governor Gavin Newsom signing a new bill into law designed to tackle unexpected gas price hike. Many are optimistic about its potential to save consumers money at the pump, yet many are also criticizing it. Those critics include the Western States Petroleum Association who says it could actually force prices to go higher.
