SF Mime Trouple will be hosting several community forum events over the next few months in our studio space in SF. The purpose of these forums is to have an open discussion on environmental issues with people from around the bay area. We will be having environmental activist guest speakers share their expertise for about 20-30 minutes, followed by a conversation.

Mark your calenders, the planned dates for the forums are:
May 23rd, June 13th, June 27th & August 22nd and will be held from 7-9 PM in our studio, with the guest speaker starting at 7:30.

Our guest speaker for the May 23rd forum is Antonia Juhasz, is a leading oil and energy industry analyst, author, journalist, and activist. She is the author of three books: “The Bush Agenda”; “The Tyranny of Oil;” and “Black Tide: the Devastating Impact of the Gulf Oil Spill.” Juhasz is currently a Fellow of the Investigative Reporting Program at UC Berkeley where she focusing on the role of oil and natural gas in the war with Afghanistan. Her latest articles appeared in The Atlantic, CNN and Harper’s Magazine. Follow Juhasz on twitter.
