In 2014, I founded (Un)Covering Oil, a nonprofit investigative journalism program. I conduct award-winning independent investigative journalism on energy, climate, and environmental justice. I am a regular features contributor to Rolling Stone. My writing also appears in outlets including, Wired, National Geographic, Newsweek, Harper’s Magazine, The Atlantic, CNN, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Nation, Ms., The Advocate, and many more. I share my findings regularly as a guest on TV, radio, documentaries, and podcasts, and by providing public talks and lectures. I have an exciting internship program working with aspiring young journalists.
