MARS, a six-part global event series on the National Geographic Channel, tells the inspiring story of the settlement of Mars from the vantage point of a fictional mission to Mars in 2033. The series combines scripted drama with documentary sequences, and features scientists and innovators who are leading the research and development of space technology which will make a future mission to settle Mars possible. Speakers include: Dr. Bobby Braun (professor of aerospace engineering sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a scientific advisor on the show) Stephen Petranek (co-executive producer, author of How We’ll Live on Mars), Leonard David (author of Mars: Our Future on the Red Planet), and Antonia Juhasz (leading oil and energy expert, author, investigative journalist, and analyst).
