As the ten year anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan approaches, Antonia Juhasz, author of Black Tide: the Devastating Impact of the Gulf Oil Spill (Wiley, April 2011) and The Tyranny of Oil: the World’s Most Powerful Industry and What we Must Do to Stop It (HarperCollins, 2008), who has just returned from Afghanistan, is joined by leaders of Iraq Veterans Against the War, including Executive Director Jose Vasquez, to discuss ending oil’s stranglehold from the Gulf of Mexico to the Persian Gulf and the critical importance of supporting IVAW.
