Keynote speaker: Gulf Restoration Network’s Annual Fall Benefit

A benefit to support GRN’s work to monitor corporate polluters, organize with communities for better storm protection, and defend the critters of the Gulf who rely on clean habitat.

Our keynote speaker this year is Antonia Juhasz, a leading oil and energy expert, award winning writer and investigative journalist. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, ranging from Rolling stone, The Atlantic, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Advocate, The Nation, The Huffington Post, and many more. Juhasz’s most recent book, BLACK TIDE: the Devastating Impact of the Gulf Oil Spill, is an in-depth investigation into the causes and consequences of the largest offshore drilling oil spill in world history.

6-8 pm. The main event, featuring keynote speaker Antonia Juhasz. The night will be accompanied by live music, an open beer and wine bar, and delicious food provided by Chef Spicer.
